While travelling to Guadalajara, we decided to party in La Santa. I've heard of this club from people that I follow on Instagram. The place is upscale, clean, safe, and it plays good music. The lighting is pretty neat, and the layout is decent. There is no overcrowding on the main floor. The seating is bottle service only, and the cost is a fraction of what I've paid for similar service in LA and Vegas. Keep in mind, some of the larger and cushier seating arrangements require a party of 6 or more. My special someone and I were able to get hooked up with a decent setup, however. The poison of choice was vodka, mixed with cranberry juice, and some bottles of water on the side. The bar is fully stocked, if you fancy a different type of booze. They also sell vapes, which I bought for us to enjoy in the moment. Once we downed the entire bottle, and spent a good amount of time in this place, we decided to head back to the hotel. This place impressed me. It is everything I expected, and more. If you find yourself in Guadalajara, and love the nightclub scene like I do, give this place a shot! This place is wack!!!! All the employees outside where acting very suspicious. I had handed them my California Driver License and they had us wait 30 min after giving us a pass to go in. And than to tell us that We couldn't go in because I didn't have my passport. I had an official ID on me. Why couldn't they just tell me I'm sorry we cant accept this when I was asked for some kind of form of ID. So if your an outsider make sure to bring your Passport. I personally wouldn't recommend you guys coming here. The bouncers are all hella stuck up and think there better than us. And honestly it's there lost!! We planned a trip to Guadalajara and decided we wanted to go to La Santa - which is now called Bibloteca. I don't think they have a website, and if they do I couldn't find it. A few weeks before our visit, I messaged La Santa via Instagram DM to inquire about reserving a table. They replied advising me I could do it through Instagram DM. I tried for three weeks prior to our trip to make some kind of a reservation but after their first reply, they never replied again. I sent three more messages, and my messages were just left on read. This place is also impossible to reach by phone. Fast forward to the night we went clubbing, we arrived a few minutes before La Santa opened in hopes of speaking to someone about getting a table. We spoke with one of the bouncers and told him we wanted to get a table. He told us no problem and that he would add our name to the list. He later disappeared and was no where to be found when the club opened. The other bouncers would not let us in. They were only letting select groups of people in. It seemed like you could only get in depending on who you knew. We waited for 30 minutes and started to get a little annoyed. After another 15 minutes we were finally let in. The club has a pretty cool "library" theme and the DJ was great! He played a mix of EDM and Reggaetón. The table areas were pretty crammed. We ended up buying 4 bottles and spent around $500. Service workers expect a tip, which was fine because service was great. All in all, I don't know if I would return to La Santa just because of how hard it was to get in. We've been to to some of the best clubs in Cancun, Mexico City, Mazatlán and Tijuana and never experienced such difficulty getting in anywhere! read more

Worst place ever!! They won't let you in lol I rather go to Chapultepec. I had the best night over there and I didn't have to wait to get in like "La Santa" Cervecería Chapultepec was waaay better than this club lol read more

Now known as Biblioteca has the worst customer service i have ever experienced! I made reservations with a Rodrigo when i got there they advised me to wait while they checked and found him. I waited 30 minutes when i asked again they said well my name wasn't found on the reservation list i said well i have his messages they said well we don't have anything ??? So why would they leave me there standing knowing this for so long ? While other people were walking in no problem. I asked so what do i do now and they said well you can do what you want i can not stress how much you should never go to a place like this ! I don't know if i was being treated like this because they saw my ID and new i was from California or if it was just complete ignorance however if you are in Guadalajara i would never recommend Biblioteca! Terrible terrible table service. They don't even let you sit down before they're charging you the bottle. It's on a per bottle payment. If you're in a large group trying to split the bill don't even think you'll have a minute to put your guard down to relax. read more
