Looks upmarket, cannot handle the footfall, food is average. We tried the €35 and €25 menu. The former starter came with the foie gras melted on the serving plate, the whole thing was unusually salty. The latter starter was a good fish soup. The €35 main dish (monkfish in bacon) came too late as well, it was cold and the basil sauce already started to solidify; the taste was too plain. The mussels were okay. The €35 menu dessert was too acidic (this was meant to be a variation on the theme of tiramisu but it's gone bad); the other desserts were acceptable.
Overall, this place is overpriced for what you get. The staff cannot cope with the business and the expensive sounding food (relative to your alternatives on the promenade) is not served in a way this food should deserve it. read more
