Exquisite food that all Spaniards should experience!
After nearly crying with satisfaction over such rich, finely prepared meals, I am hoping more people will come flocking to La Quinoa.
My husband and I split the quinoa appetizer that was as beautiful as it was delicious. It was colorful with different textures, including purple cabbage and sesame seeds. The balsamic vinaigrette was astounding.
I could have left supremely happy after that. But our entrees were just as amazing. My husband enjoyed a risotto dish that was cooked in a rich, delightful tomato sauce. I haven't had tomatoes that wonderful since I picked them off the vine at home last summer -- and even then, this sauce rivaled my own!
My curry was perfectly seasoned. Hidden within were lovely julienne haricot verts, sliced almonds, and onions.
I wanted to eat more. I wanted to hug the chef. Even though I did neither, I will find a way to come back before returning home. The desserts were certainly tempting...seems like a good enough excuse to me! read more
