I know a lot of people complain about the Post Office but I am very grateful for the one that is our main location for our area. I had to deal with them several times over the last month to send off my passport application. The customer service agent came over and helped me fill out the paperwork for my return application to ensure that I did so properly, as I am still getting used to the various forms here in France. I didn't even have to ask, as it was clear that I was hesitating about which form to use. All of the people who work there are very kind and will use English if I can't recall the word in French. I was out of town when my passport had arrived back home. I returned to the post office with my notification slip. They scanned it, went to the file cabinet and gave it back to me.
