Our car at the moment needs to be fixed so my husband ordered a car part and chose Chronopost because the delivery was guaranteed by 6pm the following day. We live out in the countryside so when our car is not working, we have no choice but to need everything to be delivered. They first sent us a text saying that the delivery would be between 8am and 6pm. Annoying but we couldn't really go anywhere anyway. Then they sent us a text in the morning of the delivery saying that the driver would be there between 12:50 and 1:50. My husband went down to start dismantling the car in anticipation of the part arriving at 12:45. He was there until 2:15 when we received another text that the driver passed by but no one was there! A complete lie!! Not only was my husband there, he was waiting in front of the house for the delivery. So we went upstairs and called Chronopost, which only has 1 number for all of France and told us that there was nothing we could do except go to Nantes (1 hour each way) and pick it up, except that OUR CAR IS NOT WORKING WHICH IS WHY WE ARE WAITING FOR THE DELIVERY- TO FIX IT!!! If you need anything delivered, don't bother with Chronopost- it will not be faster, and more likely it will be slower than the post office's version which is Colissimo. Chronopost claims that you will get a package within 24 hours but it is a complete fabrication. And looking at the 470 reviews on Google, they are all 1 star except maybe 10, echoing the same experience we have encountered. They are completely unprofessional and a waste of time and money.
