Wandering through the maze that is Barcelona, I came across this art gallery. The gentleman (of…read morewhich I can't remember his name now since I've waited over a month to write this!) was incredibly helpful and patient. I came home with 3 pieces, but could have easily purchased more had I had room in my luggage. I purchased 3 of the small box frames displaying street art and absolutely love them! One was intended as a gift, but it fit too perfectly in my display. My next time to BCN, I will definitely be back for more.

I'm all for being a conscious consumer, so even though I enjoyed visiting the gallery- when I learned about the owner's practices I was disappointed and can no longer recommend this business. Most of the art consists of photographs of Barcelona that are set into deep frames, and then cut and styled so that the image has a 3-d element to it-- this is a common style of art I have seen around Barcelona (for cheaper than Maxó's 23€ too) so these pieces are probably original?
