A small and no-fuss eatery amidst traditional Alsacian houses in the quaint village of Sessenheim. What is special about this place is that it does not serve the standard Alsacian fare of flammkueche but instead boasts an exhaustive menu of excellent traditional galettes and crepes from the Brittany region of France. Highly recommended is the galette savoyarde: potato, raclette cheese and lardons (that's bacon to you and me) in a thick, soft buckwheat pancake. The food is prepared by the owner himself, and as he can only make two galettes/crepes at the same time, be prepared to be served at different times.
