Found this place last night after a trip to the hairdressers, no one appears to have reviewed this for a while so I'll go.
Lovely little place, we (me and bf) came up as late diners at about 8/8.30pm, definitely more of a pizzeria than an Italian restaurant, not many diners or wait staff but we were seated and orders taken quickly. We had some olives and some bread with oil and balsamic vinegar to share, the bread was REALLY good I was disappointed that they didn't have dipping pots though they just had it drizzled over it so it was a little dry, I did resort to dipping the bread in the bowl of olives we had.
I ordered a coke which was clearly from tap, it tasted kind of funny like the CO2 or mix needed changing, when I asked for a new one the manager/owner who was sitting dining, overheard me and immediately made sure I got just a regular can of coke, so that was really nice.
I ordered the Quattro Formaggi (what's not to LOVE about a 4 cheese pizza), it was really good, thin base, lots of cheese, by bf ordered a spicy pizza, looked really good, none of it was overly greasy and bought out a pizza cutter for us. I did have to ask for more napkins, but the waiter was gracious and helpful.
We ordered cappucino and hot chocolate and my bf ordered the Tiramisu (he always says the mark of a good Italian is the Tiramisu *eye roll*), I really liked it but it didn't taste very much of coffee and it was sweeter than standard Tiramisu's so that was a little disappointing and is the main fact in this being only 4 stars. The wine and beer list is very limited, it would be nice if they served a cider there or another beer as they only had Peroni Nastro Azzurro.
Overall it was a nice place, inexpensive, simple and very relaxed. read more
