La Pernella turns into a classic greasy spoon caff by day. Big breakfasts with tea and toast for five English pounds. Lovely jubbly.

Best pizza in Wandsworth, very quick delivery. Tiramisu is the real deal, lots of egg yolk etc.

The ribeye was cooked perfect and cut like butter. The flavor on it was also perfect. I liked how the potatoes were cooked but they could have used a little more seasoning. The lemon merengue pie was absolutely delicious too and came along with a nice presentation. I highly recommended this place.

I don't typically like to go out to restaurants for steak as I feel like I can cook a pretty great one myself at home, but this place was highly recommended by my girlfriend's coworker. I'm very glad we came, because this was arguably the best steak dinner I have ever had in my life! We ordered the Steak Tartare, Liver, and 700g of the T-Bone steak to share. (This was way too much food for two people, but 700g is the minimum order for T-Bone). We ate so much meat today, I feel like I need to go vegetarian for a day just to balance my body out. Still, every single item was fantastic. The Liver with the roasted onion puree may have been the standout. It was incredibly tender and flavourful, and I don't normally even like to eat liver. The T-Bone steak was also amazing, buttery smooth such that I felt like I could have cut it with a spoon. Service was great as well, with the wait staff being incredibly attentive and kind. Will definitely be returning to Macellaio RC in the future!

I also really enjoy the Mussels in White Wine Sauce, although it is only sometimes available from their daily specials menu. The Spaghetti and Meatballs here are pretty great too. I don't have too much else to say about Buona Sera. The food is great, the family and staff running the place are super friendly, and the restaurant itself is clean. Pretty much the perfect spot for a sunny weekend brunch on the patio!

We were a party of five and the amount of food that was brought out could have easily served 8! We started with some tomato/garlic bread and simple garlic bread (which comes in the shape of a pizza--cool with me). I could have eaten that whole thing and called it a day. Then we shared the guazzetto, a bowl of fishy things: prawns, clams, mussels, in a soup. I'm still working my seafood muscle so went easy on these. For the main course, I had the potato gnocchi, so delicious but so filling; I had to take some home. For dessert, I had the Soufflè al Cioccolato, chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream...um AMAZING. And I also got a nibble of the Mango Tropicale, mango sorbet with coconut ice cream, topped with fruit. The presentation for this was superb! Also got one little taste of the Limone Ripieno, lemon sorbet served in...A LEMON, whodathunk. More points for presentation with that one. To close it up, we had the limoncello, which was really strong. I took a few tiny sips and left the rest for hubby...eh, I can't do alcohol. The service was great and the food, so good. At one point it started to rain outside and I thought we'd close the windows, silly me. This is London. The people sitting out on the patio didn't even blink when it started to drizzle. Within minutes it was over anyway. I love London.

I really really wanted this one to work. It was a Sunday , in august and so crowds were low - even better though they were out of a few things I was interested in. The salad starter was fine, the house wine, predictable but fine for the price but the main dissapointed. It was a pasta (the sort that looks like sea shells with a funny italian name), brocolli, anchois, and garlic. Interesting. Sadly the pasta was flavorless, the brocolli water boiled, short on anchois, and long on garlic. In fact if I had to bet they had no anchois and subbed in some tomato. I am still feeling the garlic today. Probably best not to judge a restaurant by its August food but I expected much better. If a restaurant of this rating can't perform in August (on a sunday) they should not serve the dish or should just close like the french and italians do. To finish, the cheese, some parma , also underwhelmed. Just not the sharpness that I expect. So, I am still in search of a great italian in Clapham/Battersea. Or maybe I have found it and just need to order something more than pizza from Pizza Metro and Donna M. But that is hard because the pizza is just so good there...

We had a long table of about 15 people, and there was only one other group of diners there on a Monday evening. I liked that aspect, that it was low key, not stressful, and we had the full attention of the staff. It's so refreshing, compared to the constantly busy and packed restaurants of central London, where it is a struggle to even find someone to take your order. I could hardly believe that this was London! We ordered some wine and starters for the table, and for my main I got the squid ink risotto with scallops. Everything was delicious and incredibly well priced. There was a lobster spaghetti ordered by a few people in our group that looked amazing. And despite the fact that we were a big group, all the food arrived together (another benefit of nearly having the restaurant to ourselves!) I think everyone had a great time... I just wish I lived closer so that I could be a regular!
