Depending on how you like your eggs, because maybe some like this...the eggs were cooked at a too high temperature and were hard underneath; although luckily still somewhat liquid in the middle. Big sized butters served with the gipfeli (a plus!) but only cheap foil Hero brand jams. The milchkaffee was a bitter coffee with burned milk. If any of you are cappuccino/latte connoisseurs you will know what I mean ;) When the milk is heated too much it destroys the creamy taste and the coffee is bitter.

This pasticceria has been around since 1880! There is plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs, and you can stand by the counter if you just want to have a quick coffee and pastry. There is a bathroom located upstairs and is kept in good condition. We came here in the morning to order some espressos and a few pastries. I'm a pistachio lover and the "Rocher pistacchio" was my favorite. They also serve slices of a variety of different cakes, including pistachio, lemon, and chocolate. With so many pastries, you simply must come back and try them all. I gladly give this venue five stars out of five.
