One taco, One Enchilada, One Chile Relleno

We walked in, small ish, but has outdoor seating and is very beautiful inside! The owners are extremely sweet and my order came out within 5 minutes!!! So very quick. Once we got our food, we dug in, and it tasted amazing. Food was just amazing, very authentic. Chips and Salsa, also, were very yummy. It felt like I was in my home town in Mexico. Price is reasonable as well. 10/10 experience, Will be trying again very soon!

    It was good!

So I rate Mexican food on the salsa and chili rellenos. They were both good. The food and service were definitely better than the reviews I read on the site so I'll take that as tourists being overly picky. I was on a bike ride and wanted to eat. I ordered a chili relleno plate. It came out quickly. I liked the green salsa. The refried beans were excellent. I would go back to try the tacos. Sorry for the weird picture of my empty plate but I was hungry!

Food was delicious and the waitress was very helpful. Wasn't expecting great Mexican food in BB but their food here was really well done.

We came on a very snowy day and there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant so we had our choice of seats. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful in choosing our dishes. We've been to many Mexican restaurants so we are pretty sure what we wanted, but had a few questions as some of the items seemed a little different than expected. She got the enchiladas with bean sauce on top which we're pretty darn good. I got a chicken mole dish that was good, but not quite what I was hoping for. We both came to the conclusion that this restaurant represents a regional area of Mexico that is not necessarily the same as your standard Mexican food lineup. While the food was tasty, we didn't absolutely love it and probably won't choose this place for our next Mexican meal.

Turns out, this past weekend was pretty empty due to no snow. The location is super close to where we stayed, and the parking lot is a decent size. When you walk in, the ambiance is very old school with the dark wood, covered windows and candlelight/fireplaces. There's 2 sections downstairs, the left and right side, and then you go upstairs to the upper level, where there are an additional 2 sections. I love the different spaces and mix & match furniture style. We sat upstairs across from the fireplace, which wasn't on. We were approached quickly by our server, who was very nice and offered suggestions on food to order. The staff served us some bread & butter which was ok, nothing great. We started with two small cups of clam chowder, that was pretty good - super creamy and had a good amount of clam. I like that it was a smaller portion because it was very rich. We also got one prime rib with brussels sprouts and a Chilean seabass with garlic mashed potatoes. My man loved his prime rib and veggie. My seabass was buttery and delicious but the potatoes were watery and not very flavorful. We got two cocktails - the cadillac margarita and a fruit margarita. Price was very fair and the drink was tasty. We didn't have any dessert, a lot of the options came with ice cream and i'm just not a fan. We definitely would try again to order something else.

Then when we entered, it felt like the entire bar, not just the workers, but the people eating and drinking all said hi. We came in on Dec 30th and on New Years Eve. Stopped for food and a lot of drinks. The food wasn't anything special but it was a lot better than we expected given the time of the day and how dark it looked from the outside. We didn't expect it to be lively but it was about a solid 20 people there. I'd say it can fit about 40 people solidly since there's a back pool area, a few bar stools and 7-8 tables with 4 chairs at each. We ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken which had a sweet and spicy vinegar which was delish. It also was topped with slaw and pickles. I wished it had more of the vinegar. And we ordered the cowboy burger which had pepper jack cheese, fried pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños and hot sauce. With food and a couple of drinks it came out to about 70 bucks which came out really cheap. It's a bit divey the bar but most places I feel like are like that here. Theres a pool table and an electronic jukebox (where you can download the app and choose your music that you want to be played at the bar). They have only a couple of bottles of beer to select from and no drafts. But they have a decent selection of liquor. Not the brightest of lit places but you won't be squinting to see. There's a parking lot and street parking available.

In response to the owner's reply…read more.. Service isn't just serving food and tasting your food. It's a combination of your logistics and workflow of your organization. Perhaps unorganized in the kitchen or slow in production. This isn't merely just waiting but the fact that your own staff told us different wait times. We did wait. We waited according to your instructions and schedule. We were told many different wait times every time we followed up and asked. The time kept getting longer and longer when there were no other parties waiting but us. First we were told 30mins, then literally minutes later it changed. Then an additional 20mins added. Then, 30. Then we waited, and it changed again. They kept telling us it would be longer and longer. Why would the time go backwards? A small gilled cheese sandwich for an hour? One order. You can ask any business owner or any place outside of your small town that it is a ridiculous wait time for a customer to wait for that long for one small sandwich. Instead of arguing back with your customers, a decent thing to do would have been to apologize and just have accommodated the sandwich just for having us almost an hour of waiting without even getting in. A true business owner wouldn't have responded in how you did. Not only horrible service, but bad ownership practices so I see where it reflects poorly.
