The waiter was super attentive and VERY nice. He suggested the cerdon, which is a local apertif of a sparkling rose wine which was tasty. My meal was non from the "menu" but he said he would make it one for me, giving me a small salad chevre chaud with the shrimp special of the day, which was very nice of him. My salad was beautiful and perfectly dressed. The shrimp was" flambe en Ricard" which is some kind of French alcohol. I am not a fan of cutting off the heads and pulling shrimp out of the shell but this was so good and the shrimp was perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious. Served on the side were perfectly cooked potatoes in a garlic parsley mix. They were so good. If I go back to Perouges with guests we will eat here for sure.

You feel like you're staying at a vineyard - rustic but very elegant. It was fun to just walk around and soak up the atmosphere of the place. Dinner here was amazing! I had the most amazing fava bean puree EVER. The desserts were exquisite. It was an immense pleasure to have dinner here and their breakfast set-up was also very tasty. If they add a gym to the facility - I would give it 5 stars. That was my only issue. Overall, it was WELL worth the stay and I can't wait to come back. Well done!
