It's really cute, the wifi is strong, def a little pricey but still in reasonable territory, and there's a lot of seating. Line can get long at times though, and there's only one bathroom (afaik). Some stuff I've tried has been great: the rol de canela was fab, I enjoyed the karamelito de cacao, and the bagel was serviceable. On the other hand, I was really underwhelmed with the loaf of bread I got (rosemary and olive) and I distinctly disliked the white chocolate cookie (sooo dry and hard). I was also unimpressed with the orejita. Coffee is meh, didn't wow me but it's certainly not bad. I'll probably keep going back because it's a cute space and a nice place to work remotely (when you don't have meetings because it gets noisy) but I really think the reviews are overhyping the pastries.

My daughter and I walked over on a Monday around 8:30 a.m. Here's our experience: 1) Food: Warm pastries from around the world are displayed behind glass the moment you enter the bakery. Scones for Great Britain, cardamom buns for Sweden, and chocolate chip cookies for the USA. We ordered a cardamom bun, chocolate glazed donut and a chocolate chip cookie. All three were delicious, but the winners were the donut and chocolate chip cookie. You know the baker is talented when he makes a chocolate chip cookie that outshines any in the country of its origin. 2) Drinks: They brew a full coffee menu and my latte was excellent. There are sweetener options on the counter from stevia to brown sugar. They also have cold bottles of water for $10 pesos. 3) Space: It's small, but the walls are decorated with fun murals. A few small tables are throughout and there's even a corner with a stuffed animal and molding sand for kids. (My daughter LOVED that corner.) 4) Service: The man behind the register was kind and clearly passionate about his bakery. There was a consistent flow of customers and he seemed to know most.

This hole-in-the-wall place looks like every other local bakery from the outside, except for the line of in-the-know folks constantly present in the morning. They offer a combination of typical pastries (conches, berlinesas, donas) and European style pastries (croissants, cardammon rolls etc). The almond croissant is wonderful and almost always runs out before noon. The cinnamon roll (which honestly, looks pretty humble in the case) is one of the best I've ever had. Their rolls are always filled with something like guava or strawberry, but not in an overly sweet way. It just gives a nice softness/moistness to the roll when so many fall victim to severe dryness. This is also my place for sourdough bread, which I buy on a weekly basis. It's very small and has only 2-3 tables inside, so ordering to go is the best option. I suggest bringing a Tupperware container if you're going to take anything with icing on it home!
