Coconut Shrimp
Pa Nhia H.

The coconut shrimp was dry and disappointing. The shrimp taco and fish taco were decent. I expected the tacos to be more traditional, but I guess they made it this way to be more for a foreigner's taste. The guac was my favorite. It was very flavorful and tasted very fresh.

I freaking LOVED THIS PLACE best shrimp and octopus ceviche I've ever had! Food tastes so damn fresh and the first bite got me hooked! First time visiting Los Cabos and when I got off the plane I was hungry, tired and it was too hot to function! I ended up here through asking one of the locals randomly and they said this was the place to go and man oh man did it set the bar for the rest of the trip. I was so reluctant to try other places because my heart was stuck on La Palapa but on the way out of Los Cabos please believe I made it happen. From the shrimp tacos, to the seafood paella, to the beef tacos and ceviches, AMAZE BALLS!!! Highly recommend to those who need somewhere to eat.

Missed flight had to stay over extra night at the airport hotel and found this gem. Address is incorrect in yelp. It's next to Budget Car Rental. Guac is good. The green enchiladas are really good. Very good service!

Everyone's food was amazingly great! Chills relleno plate was huge and so so so good. Milanesa de pollo and steak milanesa was one of the best I've had.

Decent Mexican restaurant near the airport. Food wasn't anything too special, but the guacamole was indeed delicious.

We almost passed on Mariscos Las Tres Islas, but I'm so glad we didn't! Our Uber driver actually…read morerecommended it over another spot we had in mind, and that alone made us curious enough to give it a try--and wow, it did not disappoint. The seafood was incredibly fresh--easily some of the best we've had. Every bite tasted like it came straight from the ocean that day. The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly made and refreshing, pairing so well with the food. What really stood out, though, was the service. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you're on the fence like we were, take the recommendation and go--you won't regret it!

Tucked back away from the marina is this gem of a place. Highly rated on all the sites for good…read morereason. Service is excellent and the food is outstanding. Beautiful atmosphere with lights, plenty of tables, and clean bathrooms. The seafood is so fresh! We ordered the crab meat tostada, aguichiles, ceviche, grilled octopus dinner, garlic shrimp dinner, and fresh grilled fish (Acapulco style) for 2. The dinner plates cakes with a side of rice and steamed mixed vegetables. Everything was so fresh, delicious, tender, and so flavorful. As a group, we couldn't come to a consensus on what each of our favorite dish was. We each had our own favorite. Crab meat was sweet, garlic shrimp was buttery, grilled octopus was so tender, aguichiles was so citrusy... I can go on and on. Ask for fresh tortillas. Also don't skip their margarita. Strong, citrusy, and generous serving. They accept USD or pesos. Also strolling musicians will come by your table asking to play a song. Some will tell you the price up front others will expect a tip at the end.

Mariscos La Palmita -- Incredible Seafood, Local Favorite & Amazing Value…read more This place came highly recommended, and after visiting, I totally understand why. The restaurant was packed with locals when we went -- always a great sign. Cash only, so come prepared. What We Ordered Chocolate Clams (Cooked) You can choose raw or cooked -- I went with cooked and it was delicious. Very fresh, no fishy smell at all. One thing to note: every seafood dish comes topped with garlic. I'm not a fan of garlic and didn't know ahead of time, so I rinsed it off with hot water -- still amazing. Calamari Fresh, tender, and very well cooked. Seafood Special Combination Fish and squid were excellent. Lobster and shrimp were okay, nothing too special compared to the others. Price & Value The prices here are unbelievably cheap. * 6 chocolate clams = 285 pesos * Waldorf restaurant: 2 clams for $48 USD * Another place we tried: 2 clams for 340 pesos After eating around Cabo, this place clearly stood out for both quality and price. We couldn't even finish everything and packed leftovers back to the hotel. Total bill for all dishes: around $100 USD -- incredible. Overall Huge portions, super fresh seafood, local vibes, and unbeatable value. If you're anywhere near Cabo San Lucas, this spot is a must-visit.

Cash only establishment…read more Really liked the fish ceviche - very fresh and it is quite a large portion. Complimentary chips and salsa. I should have written down what kind of chips they buy, because they were tasty. Very crunchy and really nice corn and toasty flavor. Frozen margarita had really good flavor too. For the mango one, it had mango puree for a base, which I think was much nicer than just flavored water. Garlic grilled shrimp plate was tasty. Shrimp enchilada was ok, but not really what I was expecting. Guess we've been eating Americanized enchiladas this whole time. This dish was a warmed tortilla topped with small shrimp, tomato, and bell peppers.
