In fact, it's a little hard for me to categorize the food. It's definitely authentic, but on an elevated level worthy of the Food Network. You can taste freshness of the ceviche and it's so flavorful. Several of us came so we sampled a bit of everything. The sopes with pulpo were excellent as were the tacos dotados con chorizo and marlin. The kids had fish sticks and fries which was perfect for them. The desert was superb-- tortilla over flame filled with caramel and served coconut ice cream. This was beyond my expectations to say the least. So we inquired and it turned out the chef owner used to used to work at Grand Velas and other major chains. This explained a lot. Bottom line: epic hole in the wall. Go! Well worth it!
