Incredible location- across the street from the beach with a fabulous balcony looking towards…read moreCastillo de Peñíscola (a huge and beautiful castle that is it's own peninsula off the beach).
Our group tried a variety of different things, from stuffed squid, tomato bread, fried dough balls with cheese, ribs and potatoes, and different cold cuts of meat. All were delicious. The only odd tasting this was the dessert- a brownie type thing in an orange sauce. It tasted very much like a weight watchers/ overly healthy dessert. Odd.
The wait staff is attentive, and entertaining. They're all super ripped guys with overly tight shirts. It was hard to fall in love with them, because they seemed pretty in love with themselves.
Overall, a wonderful experience dining on delicious Spanish tapas and watching the sunset with the castle behind us.
