Italian Cuisine in Bavarian Surrounding Hidden from the main road, the Italian owners kept the Bavarian surrounding (Zirbelstube) but serve Italian food. The menu is probably too extensive so resort to the daily changing menu chalked on a blackboard. For the wine, ask for the one from Southern Italy which the owner selects himself. Very friendly service and very good Italian food in a nice, not crowded atmosphere. read more

Der alteingesessene Italiener - immerhin seit über 25 Jahren - reiht sich zum Glück nicht ein in das Gaststätten-Sterben in Holzkirchen. Das liegt sicher auch an den vielen langjährigen Stammgästen, die es so mögen wie es ist, aber auch daran, dass es auch was für das jüngere Publikum oder die Junggebliebenen anzubieten hat. Mittlerweile gibt es nämlich auch eine Vinoteca, die zum kurzen Verweilen als auch zum ausgedehnten Feiern einlädt - neuerdings auch mit WM-Ecke! In die Vinoteca setzt man sich auch gerne einfach mal nur auf ein Glas Wein oder Aperol Spritz. Für den kleinen Appetit lockt die Vitrine mit frisch aufgeschnittener Mortadella, Salami und Käse aus Molise. Und wer mag, kann mit seinen Kindern hier auch mal einfach nur Karten spielen zum Vertreib - Kinder sind sowieso sehr erwünscht bei diesem liebenswerten und unverstellten Ehepaar aus Italien. Hier lohnt es sich wirklich hinzugehen. Klein und fein. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Toller, abwechslungsreicher Mittagstisch unter der Woche. Aber auch am Abend oder Sonntags lohnt es sich dort zu speisen. Super schmackhaftes Essen. Tolle Vorspeisen. Egal ob Pizza, Pasta, Salat, Fisch oder Fleisch einfach spitze! Auch die Sondertafel der speziellen Speisen ist ein Versuch wert.
