Sans Rival, for those who are not familiar is a famous Filipino cake of layered dessert that intersperses cashew meringue with French buttercream. Came here to fix my sweet tooth coz Sans Rival knows how to do it properly. I got Silvanas and braso de mercedes unfortunately ni sans rival coz they're out! Not a surprise as this dessert is so famous and went here right before they close! Better luck next time! Silvanas - Filipino frozen cookie and like Sans Rival it is base on French Dacquoise dessert cake. The buttercream is sandwiched between two cashew- meringue wafers coated with cookie crumbs. The flavor is light, crispy and nutty. It is delightfully mouthwatering and I can't stop each bite that I ended up eating 4 in one sitting. Ugh! My tooth is the happiest! LoL.
