I show him a picture of the cut I want, and we discuss the cut in detail. We agree to leave it 4 cms below the shoulders, exactly like the picture. He asks me to take my glasses off, so I do, figuring I have no reason to worry about not being able to see, since we discussed so thoroughly what I wanted. An hour later, he's done cutting and lets me put my glasses back on. He had cut off much, much more than what we agreed, leaving me with a BOB 2 cms ABOVE my shoulders instead of the mid-length wave 4 cms below the shoulders. He says all nonchalant, "oh, it would have been better a few centimeters longer". YA THINK? I came out of there 44 EUR poorer and looking like a stepford wife on acid. Goes without saying I will not be going back, ever. Avoid like the plague.

The result made me happy. The second time, however: what a disappointment. The hairdresser felt very uneasy - almost nervous - cutting my hair. His hand was unstable and he seemed lost at what to do. The result is an uninspired bob, a haircut I could easily have had with a low budget hairdresser. I left the salon after 25 minutes (with my hair still wet!), feeling very uneasy and ugly. My hair was a proper mess; dull, messy with uneven lengths and not flattering to my face at all. No one would believe it if I said I just came back from the hairdresser's.
