They make a mean whiskey or pisco sour. They didn't have pizza when I visited so I tried the pasta with red sauce. It was quite bland (but that's typical Chilean cuisine IMO). My friend had the salad with pears, blue cheese and chicken. Chicken was unseasoned but that's no surprise. The tiramisu was pretty good. Very creamy, I think they use cream cheese. It might not be traditional but it was tasty and definitely big enough to be shared.

This place is the place to hit if you are visiting Santa Cruz Chile. It is nothing fancy and could…read morebe compared to a dinner but their foods is made daily, including the bread that they use on all of their sandwiches. There are many elegant places to eat while you are in Santa Cruz, they have beautiful ambiance, the whole deal, however most to all of them have a really bad menu. And the food is never worth the inflated price. This is why I also go to El Panificadora while I'm on a weekend adventure outside of Santiago. The have sandwiches, salads, a menu of the day (which always includes mashed potatoes!), and some of the most amazing pizza and ice cream ever. Their pizza is made in a real stove oven and the dough is just perfect. They also serve coffee drinks, beer, soda and wine to drink. Their service is always really fast and even when they are full they somehow can always accommodate one more.

Twice I had to ask somebody to help us. Our waitress was Pamela Quiroz and she was the least helpful/friendly waitress. Horrible service! Plus, she totally brought me the wrong thing and then told me they don't have what I wanted. I guess a menu would have helped!
