Just what I want on vacation, something I will not find where I live. The lady was eager to help and answer any questions. I browsed for a few minutes before I chose my candies. The candy I bought was very good. Some were chocolate and some were fruity. My only issue is that there are almost no covers over any of the candies. It felt odd because someone could potentially take a sample with germy hands. After Covid, I feel like this should not be happening. (Really never) Anyway, I did not get sick thankfully but I took a chance. I was concerned but wanted the candy. :) Prices were pretty reasonable. I really did enjoy browsing here.

My French is terrible and he was so patient and helpful regardless of my shortcomings. We bought some delicious caramels of various flavors and some chocolate covered oranges. It was pricey, but the quality was great and everything was so tasty. So many great things for souvenirs as well. Shop for your friends and families! There were also numerous issues with our credit cards, and he was so kind with that as well. I definitely recommend coming into this shop when you're in Honfleur. Great treats and great service.

To my…read moresurprise I found out that this candy shop is world renown and is one of the oldest confectioneries in France. It opened in 1949 ( Fun fact of the day ) When you visit you can take a FREE tour in English of their process of making hand-made sweets such as candied local fruits, sugar crystallized flowers, dried chocolate-dipped fruits, jellies and marmalade's... yum ,yum yum ! All of these yummy treats are made in this old fashion adorable french shop. How quaint! Upon your arrival you will see TONS of bowls of washed, peeled and crystallized local fruits such as clementines. Their specialty is chocolate coated crystallized fruit, they also give out free samples, I recommend you try the chocolate cherries. I 'm normally not a fan of cherries but these one are to die for ! They also make adorable gift baskets, which you can buy online, that are filled to brim with local goodies such as their chocolate, fruit, cheese. Their prices are fairly reasonable too! While I was there I bought medium size bag of edible crystallized flowers - rose petals, violets and verbena leaves and it only cost me 13 euros .. not too shabby ! If you ever get a change to visit Cote d"Azur I STRONGLY suggest you stop into Confiserie Florian, I promises you will never eat a better chocolate cherries then the ones from here.
