Also we were surprised that a lot of the enclosures had limited grass for the animals. In the goat enclosure the plants were fenced off & we gave them some they seemed incredibly hungry. The facilities were not good. Only 1 set of toilets & a disabled toilet (the baby changing room was closed so I had no choice but change my baby's nappy on a picnic table) & they were not nice. Also there was no where open that sold food!!! We were starving by the time we left & not even icecreams in the gift shop!! That said, some of the animals were great with the gibbons & good bird show. The raptor enclosure was fun, never seen anything like that & my daughter really enjoyed the 2 bouncy castles but a shame there were no swings or slides for my younger son. We stayed just down the road from the park entrance, about 2 minute walk, meaning it was a perfect place to relax after the chaos of road works and people hurrying from A to B. The kids loved the green areas where they could run and play but soon discovered the play park where the younger ones had somewhere to play safe away from the bigger kids. A definite must see if you find yourself in Bordeaux and just want to enjoy the beauty of nature.
