Room was clean, the shower was good and powerful (badly needed after striking camp in rather wet conditions in Samer) TV was HD. Breakfast is served in the Lobby, basic but good value at EUR8.50. Rack rate for a double EUR64-69 but if you book on line as we did, budget rate was EUR39. Last time we were there we were highly entertained by Victor the Mynah Bird, who had a great repertoire in English and French, sadly he is now an ex-Mynah Bird. Bike accommodation in the cellar is a bit awkward but beats locking them up outside. WiFi is available for free in the lobby area, allegedly throughout the whole hotel but the signal didn't reach the 4th floor. Rooms at the back are quiet.

Staying at the Hotel Clery is a wonderful experience indeed!…read more The staff are attentive and friendly, the surroundings are as beautiful as you could ask for and the rooms are lovely! The restaurant is also an excellent choice for dinner but I did feel a bit short changed for breakfast, not because it was particularly bad, it's just they it didn't live up to everything else about the place :) It's the perfect place for a short romantic getaway, especially if you have a car, as the nearby seaside towns of Boulogne-sur-Mer and Wimereaux have a lot to offer! I'd happily stay here again!
