This family-run inn is incredibly charming and sweet. Though I wasn't traveling with children, there were several families there, and it was clearly perfectly suited to family travel. The couple who owns the place has young children, and there are plenty of toys, books, and playspaces available. I didn't eat in the restaurant at night but the food looked fresh and delicious, and much of it is grown in the owners' own garden. Breakfast, with fresh baked breads, fruits, and yogurts, was scrumptious. The owners are simply lovely people. The husband of the couple came and picked up my traveling companion and me in Rocamadour and was incredibly nice and accommodating, even when we caused him to get back late for dinner! Carennac is a beautiful town and I only wish I'd stayed here longer than one night. read more
