This multi-location chain is very difficult to work with. I first found wines that I was interested in on their website. I contacted the store in Merida and sent them a list and asked #1 Do you have the wine in stock? #2 If not, can you get it in stock in the next 30 days? Their responses -- We only have two of the five wines. We can't promise that we will have them in 30 days. Here are some alternatives (all were subpar). Our prices are not the same as on the website. We charge per bottle and do not discount when you buy by the case.
I wanted a case each of five wines and those were the responses I received. Basically take it or leave it. We don't care what you want and even though our company sells these wines, we won't make an effort to get them in for you even though you don't need them for a month. And oh, by the way, we will charge you a lot more than the prices on our website.
I don't know if that is a company wide attitude or a Merida thing but it certainly isn't any way to sell wine. read more
