This place always needs a re-visit now and again. I love the fact that they have stayed the same after all these years, the quality of food and varied selection is impressive.
It is a pleasure to sit at one of their square tables topped with a pseudo-leather placemat and comfy enough chairs to have a cafesito con chiquito alfajores and just sip coffee with friends and loved ones in a cold and breezy day.
I like it so much that I always bring some saladitos with me (hand carried in the plane) when I return home. It is my attempt to bring a little bit of Belgrano home with me.
Service is a tad bit slow but good nevertheless, considering they do not rush you to finish your coffee. I like it.
If you are in Buenos Aires, I recommend this place. Very welcoming and warm during early winter days. If I was hungry enough, I will have their miga sandwiches there. read more
