La Taverna is located right in the main piazza of this popular seaside town. It has an indoor…read moredining room as well as a large covered outdoor patio. We arrived early on a Saturday afternoon on which the town was very relaxed and not crowded. I'm sure it gets mobbed in high season.
The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating as well as attentive. We certainly got our seafood "fix" here, all of which done very well: Stuffed calamari (interesting); Spaghetti with small crabs (nice taste, too much work); Tuna tartare, and then we ordered fried calamari, which we should have just ordered to begin with. The whole experience was a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Autumn.
