This is the standard meet-up spot for the missus and I for a quickie lunch grab. With a wide range of options from paninis to parisiennes (a specialty stuffed baguette), it's one of the better grab-and-go values downtown. They have a lot of "menu" combinations, like sandwich/soda, pastry/coffee, and my favorite on a lazy Sunday morning, savory croissant+pastry+coffee for 7.95. It's in the middle of the shopping center, so it's not a bad place for people watching and you can get free wifi so why not hang out?
The food itself is not bad, if you remember that this is basically a fast-food place with a French twist (the food, not the hair style). I like the ham & mushroom croissants and the Normandy filled baguette with sundried tomato and brie-yum!
If I could change one thing it would be the seats. There are two options-wooden school-house style chairs and shorter cushier ones. If you grab a wooden on, you've got a 50-50 shot at wobbling your way through your meal, and the cushy ones make me feel like a giant in a kids bedroom, 'cause they're so short.
