Newroz Döner Kebap is a Turkish Restaurant in Santiago de Compostela that appears just outside of…read morethe old town village. We found it by accident as we were heading down a narrow road that was leading out of the old village. We were desperately searching for a change of pace for lunch that did not include fish or any kind of tapas. It was refreshing to find a restaurant that provided a taste of something different; Turkish delights but also pizza. We ordered a cheese pizza that was quite cheesy along with a beer. The lunch experience was fabulous along with the comfortable outside patio that had a great views of the old and new villages. The inside of the restaurant was not as airy, but they did have a flat screen TV that had a football (soccer) game on. I don't understand why they call this restaurant "Fast Food". The pizza was specially made for us and it did not come out fast, just ordered as requested. Although I only had their pizza and beer, the lunch experience was wonderful and so was the price.
