We were at an AirBnB nearby for a week in PV and went here to stock up day to day necessities. The parking lot and the store is near and clean. The area itself is better than many areas in PV The store has lots of good fresh produce - veggies, fruits and herbs. Some of it were at a very good price when compared to Canada. Some berries from Mexico were expensive. They had lots of breads, tacos, fajitas made right on premises. Surprisingly there are lots of vegan milks - oat, soy and almond. Vegan Hotdogs, mock meats, sliced seitan-ham, pepperoni etc. Lots of Tofu, vegan Cheeze, ice creams, burgers as such as well. The store has some hats, beachware and some basic clothes and home stuff as well. Most staff don't speak English so it may be a difficult if you need help. All else service are good. read more

They call it a "hypermarket " for a reason, it's massive and it truly has everything including a cafe. Large aisles and even "sugar free" and "gluten free" aisles. Very well organized and all employees wear green shirts so it's easy to spot them, they are very helpful and most speak English. You have large meat sections, bakery w all kinds of pastries and lots of different breads to choose from. I spotted some vegan items. Just everything that you might need, a true "one stop shop," shop. Little highest prices, large parking lot, next to Costco & CC are accepted. read more

I loved this grocery store! It was always clean and had a good selection of food. They're also on Uber Eats delivery. They have an Asian section that allowed me to cook some of my favorite meals. A girl can only have so many tacos. Prices are great if you're buying Mexican items but can get quite pricey if you're buying American or other ethnic foods. Friendly staff. Bring your own bags. Feb 2024 Update - This is the best grocery store in the area hands down and is as good or better than any of the large super stores you find in the US. As this was our first time back since Pre Covid days, we absolutely had to stop at their coffee and pastry shop inside the store where we had an amazing Cappuccino with their free/complementary two small pastries. This coffee shop is worth the trip alone to this business and should not be missed. read more

Great experience here! This grocery store is a mix between a home goods store and a fancy grocery store. They have everything here; a cafe, bakery, smoothie bar, organic section, imports, wine/liquor, home goods, clothing, personal items and all the food sections you would normally see at a grocery store. The bakery was awesome and our favorite part of our visit. We grabbed a tray with tongs and picked out all of the baked goods we wanted for the week. The service was awesome and the clerk let us know we missed a bogo promotion and let us get out of line to get another item. Will come here again if we are back in Cabo! read more

We loved this big, busy department store. (I know -- they call it a grocery store, but it's much more than that.) All sorts of groceries, including fresh and frozen goods, pop, canned goods, etc., but also an extensive bakery, deli and butcher shop. Even fresh tortillas. (They have American/British brands there, too, but expect to pay more. And the local brands are just as good, if not better.) It's also a good spot to buy tourist clothes, batteries, medical needs, etc. WARNING: We tried to bring packages of Spanish preserved 'tapas' meats (ham, salami, etc.) back to family for the holidays -- and they were confiscated at the airport, thanks to a "meat-sniffing" dog. There are bans on bringing any kind of preserved meats back into the U.S. -- don't even bother. One feature that we went back for several times: a clean coffee shop that offered all sorts of pastries, and excellent lattes, espressos, etc. for fairly reasonable prices. Be sure to check out the special for the month, which is VERY good, pricewise. And the presentation is far better than Starbucks ever dreamed of. We liked this place a lot. You will, too. read more

It has everything from Asian to Gourmet to the Cava to BBQ to bath to sheets to beauty to pharmacy to clothes to optometry to electronics. Think an upscale Fred Meyer or Target which is laid out much better. Prices are reasonable. Yes you tip your bagger at check out. It's a cross between a Whole Foods, Wegmans, and Costco in my opinion. One would be very hard pressed not to find what they're looking for here. Came here straight from the airport to shop and this place is very nice! They even have a bag check so you can leave your bag up front while you shop, great additional service. It has everything you need from a grocery store and then some. It has groceries from Mexico, and imported items from America as well. Their selections are expansive, and everything is clean and organized. They have amazing meats, seafood, bakery, so many cheeses! They also have a good liquor and wine selection. This shopping grocery store reminds me of the européen France style of an Auchan. It has everything from groceries, fine groceries, alcohol & wine, clothes, pharmacy, butcher, nice selection of cheeses ,... be aware of the $$$ if you don't mind spending more than a regular Mexican grocery store. Then it's probably worth it for you. The service is really good but we do find it's fantastic everywhere else. The Mexican people are really excellent at the service industry. The produce are good but not like at the market. Market are always best. Especially the Saturday and Thursday markets. All and all definitely worth it. read more

We call this Mexican Whole Foods. They have EVERYTHING there. Prices for US imports are high so watch the price tags but if you're homesick or LOVE a specific brand they most likely have it there. The meat department, deli, and bakery are on par with the best US grocery stores. read more

Rating from 1-10 I give this is a place a 10 + I was amazed to see such a large Market and I thought I was in food heaven. Everything one could ask for is here, plus a delightful coffee Cafe to relax for a spell. One thing more to add, there is a department store where you can get anything from electronics to cosmetics, and clothes. I bought a Puerto Vallarta T-shirt and a few items. Petco is next door, I saw this sign and walked over to investigate. Happy I did it is a place you don't want to just pass up. In a nutshell, I highly recommend LaComer. read more

I love to cook and have been in Puerto Vallarta 5 months. I heard about this store last week. OMG!!!! I walked in. WOW! My mouth agape for probably a solid 20 minutes. I'm sure if anyone was watching a camera they would have thought I was having a stroke. I said more times than I could count to no one in particular, "I've died and gone to Whole Foods!" Besides the amazing selection, they had sanitized every cart and had huge bottles of hand sanitizer everywhere. The entire staff had on face masks. Mexico hasn't faced the lockdown for Coronavirus other countries have but I was impressed with their professionalism. read more

Spacious, modern, clean with an incredible selections of top-quality produce, health and beauty products (including imported, European creams), even high-quality gardening supplies. This place has the worst customer service! I bought a napkin holder that was defective. I took it back and they didn't give me my money back nor do an exchange. They said returns/exchanges would be accepted within 14 days of purchase and this was within 11 days and they would not do anything. I live close by and just moved here from the States and WILL NEVER go back there again. They prefer to lose a customer that spends hundreds of dollars every visit for a $15 dollar defective item that they could have simply replaced or credited. Buyer beware... Don't expect customer service first mentality here at all. I will discontinue going there despite the selection and would prefer to go through Amazon and be crystal clear on their return policies vs be subject to shifty practices and policy changes on a whim... read more

I am genuinely offended by this grocery chain. I am not a tourist I live in Vallarta. There have been several incidents that have frustrated me that I've chosen to ignore, however, I will not ignore the other disrespect that their staff and management have to wards customers. I walked to comer to buy just a few things today. When I went to check out and handed The young person my money I remembered I needed a bag. Of course local mayor no longer gives bags for groceries. I agree with that! However I still need to purchase a bag. The store has long sold large green cloth bags for 18 pesos. Today they had none left but they did sell me whether I wanted it or not a 100 peso small cloth bag! It was either by the bag or carry my several grocery items home in my hands. (Let me just tell you the last time I was at le comer, I spent in excess of 5000 pesos. That was a week ago.) The on shift manager of coarse didn't speak English and my Spanish is not very good...so, I bought the bag and came home defeated. I will not speak of the numerous little things that of happened in the past. Suffice it to say that I will think twice before I go to that store again! read more
