We opted for the lunch tasting menu. Yes, tasting menus take a while but we were enjoying it so much we didn't mind the 2 hour lunch break. Most of the servers spoke only French but one of the servers spoke English so she was able to answer our questions. We didn't care that we didn't understand the explanation of the dishes by the other servers. We just scarfed them down and they were so tasty. This was one of the best meals we had in France.

We were not expecting this level of quality in both the cuisine (super fresh and inventive) and the service. This is definitely one of the best table in the region. And while in Langeais, you can also have a glimpse at the magnificent even if small castle of Langeais, as well as the very nice farmer's market, on Sundays if I remember correctly. We will come back.

J'ai choisi le poisson du jour, parfaitement cuit, léger et savoureux. Pour le dessert, j'ai pris une crème brûlée et une tarte Tatin -- un vrai régal, faits maison et pleins de goût. Les portions sont généreuses et les prix très raisonnables compte tenu de la qualité. Le personnel est très sympathique et attentionné, sans être envahissant.
