Within minutes the cigar wrapper completely disintegrated in my hand. Returned to store under ten minutes of buying to show them crumbling cigar and they refused to honor their purchase. No offer for a new cigar, the manager refused to stand by their product. I've been smoking cigars for over 30 years and never had a cigar do this. I never write reviews, but this was shockingly bad.

This visit was quick with a box purchase of the newly released French Regional Edition Juan Lopez Punto 55. As always they opened several boxes so I could choose which one I wanted. Boutique 22 is a small but absolutely gorgeous tobacconist with a nicely stocked humidor and one of the finest selections of smoking accessories from ST Dupont, Davidoff and Elie Bleu that I have seen. They even have one of the 8 Dupont Arc de Triomphe jeroboam lighters for sale. Plus their customer service is excellent. I happily purchased some more of the Quai d'Orsay Secretos regional edicions along with a couple of the Hoyo Anejados. If you are a serious cigar smoker in Paris I would highly recommend Boutique 22 and Le Lotus as the two tobacconists to visit.

The woman who helped me had no idea about the cigars she was trying to sell. The older man who worked there intervened but his knowledge was better than her's but also relatively minimal. The prices are fair and on par with Le Lotus and Publicis but their selection and knowledge of Habanos certainly aren't.
