My husband came late September and there must have been a heat wave because the weather was gorgeous the whole time we were there. The hoards of tourists have gone and we pretty much shared the beach with a few other couples and families. Parking is not free apparently but we came during the off season and there was no one there to collect.

My husband did some research and found this small, yet really beautiful beach just a few miles from Porto Cervo Marina, where we are staying. There are only about 3 parking spaces by the entrance​ and just a few more down the road. It's definitely not a huge populated beach​​, and that's precisely the reason why I absolutely loved it! Unlike beaches in the U.S., the beaches here tend to be more quiet​ and sedate. No frisbee throwing and volleyball with dogs running off-leash​. Just soft plushy white sand and dreamy Mediterranean blue waters in quiet surroundings. Aaaahh! ​

Once you reach downhill you will be rewarded with the most spectacular view. The waters here are tranquil and clear and white sands complete the perfect picture. Lino, the man that works here is very kind and clearly explains everything in the office and then his team members who help you onto the boat clearly explain everything there as well. The water here is unbelievably clear and gorgeous - we enjoyed being out in the deep blue part on our own and jumping in the water just as much as getting close to the shore line where the water is more turquoise. Online, their website says from 70 euro/day, but Lino explained that this is only in off season. In August, apparently it's 250 euros/day, but we didn't show up until almost noon so he gave it to us for the rest of the day (til 6pm) for 150 euros. When you come back, you pay for the gas needed to refill - for us this was 25 euros. And expect a long line at 6pmish (though the company will help you with this part). They offer you an umbrella and a cooler, so bring ice and drinks/snacks. Boat has a shade and also places to store things that need to stay dry. An amazing day in Sardinia!

Goloritze was WAY overcrowded with people on the beach and boats in the water. Made it impossible to relax and have a good day there without feeling like people were breathing down your neck everywhere you turn. Would probably pass next time I go back to Sardegna.
