I came on one of my friend's last nights in Cordoba and we had a variety of empanadas. We all agreed the chicken one was our favorite. The flavor, with a little bit of spice, were perfect. The meat empanada was also good, but I would not recommend the corn and my friends said the ham & cheese was just ok.

The arabe (beef, onion, tomato?, spices, served with a lemon) doesn't even look like an empanada, not to mention it's got a lot of appt inside that bready exterior. That one was more consistent in content so I judge it the champion. Then came the locro. It's a bit salty for my taste, and there was more fat than meat. By a landslide. There were also bones. So a minus for meat but a plus for that wonderful choclo. Also, the place is a pretty decent value to fill you up for under $10 with tip (even with a beverage). It's a good stop for a quick bite for any meal of the day.

Our waiter was good, although sometimes he forgot about us. Still I would recommend you try it at least once.
