La Cavetta is a very nice place for a quiet relaxation. It is close to Rome and yet far from the noise and pollution of the city. It is located in the middle between the two cities of Trevignano Romano and Anguillara with approx 5 km to each city, and there are no nearby shops or activities. Therefore a car/bike is necessary if you need to go somewhere. A short walk in the surrounding area is soon stopped by barking dogs that are running free at all the neighboring premises. It didn't feel safe with small children. The owners are very friendly, helpful and speaks excellent English. The guesthouse is very clean and well kept. We stayed two adults and three children in Studio Porpora, and it was big enough for that. We missed the view of the lake though, which you only get from the top apartment 'Oliver'. There is a small kitchen with a fridge and dishwasher. The gas stowe only worked on two out of four, but there is also a barbecue outside and wooden fire is free. The place works fine for an excursion to Rome. You can drive to the railway station of 'Cesano Di Roma' and take the train to 'St. Pietro' station in Rome, close to the Vatican and St. Peter's church.
