I enjoyed here some cakes bit sized perfect for sharing and trying different flavors. And have it all. From classic italian ones to modern ones. Glad we spent some time here and I am very happy that soon we will re-visit.

But when I saw they had tiramisu and Toblerone flavors I had to get both. The two of us shared a small cup and it came with two flavors which was plenty for a quick gelato stop for us. The tiramisu flavor was so creamy and rich in flavor. So was the Toblerone and the chocolate pieces were big. I'd highly recommend this place.

The staff was friendly enough, and the space was big and bright and heavily decorated. But I wasn't as impressed by the drinks as I'd wanted to be. And also, on that morning, I had been craving a pistachio cornetto. It seemed they weren't not as popular in Verona as they are in Florence, so after a ton of Googling and searching through TripAdvisor and Yelp, I led my husband here. Of course, by the time we arrived, they had sold out of the pistachio cornetto. I was disappointed, but didn't want to waste an opportunity to try something of theirs, so we opted for a sit-down service and ordered a couple of coffees. I got the Viennese coffee and my husband got a regular caffe. I was going to order a pastry but figured there'd be enough sweet and sugar in my coffee that I didn't need to add a baked good on top of it. The Viennese coffee was good - I liked the hot/cold combo from the coffee and the whipped cream. It wasn't the best whipped cream I've ever had - once I got towards the bottom of the cup it had more congealed than melted into the hot liquid, but what I had before I got to that point was decent. My husband said his coffee was also good, but nothing special (this after we'd just come from what we thought was the best coffee shop in Verona, so I can't really blame him in his assessment.)

Just rapid-fire "Which one? Which one?" When I finally said "chocolate," the server hit me with a very pointed "AND?" ... apparently one scoop is not an acceptable life choice here. Prices were clearly listed: two scoops = €6. Cool. Simple. Except somehow both my friend and I were charged €10 each. When I asked why, they said it was because we got "bigger scoops." Fascinating concept, since that pricing policy exists nowhere on the menu and appears to be invented on the spot. If scoop size magically changes the price, maybe put that little detail in writing instead of springing it on customers after the fact..? So yes, €20 total for rushed, mediocre ice cream and a masterclass in upselling pressure. The staff wasn't friendly, the experience felt deliberately confusing, and the pricing was conveniently flexible in their favor. This place single-handedly turned a nice outing into a lesson in consumer vigilance. Would not return. Would not recommend.
