He was attentive and immediately recognized that we were out of town and took care of us. He also explained that because we were from out of town he knew that we might not understand that they hold our credit card when we open a tab which was nice because not everybody does it that way. As far as the bar is concerned that they have a nice stand floor apparently they do drag shows late at night on Fridays and Saturdays. There is plenty of TVs a great bar selection of drinks and nightly specials a pretty good happy hour and Trump experience. The poor is pretty heavy so if you enjoy strong drinks, you're gonna enjoy it here. Just know that when you come up to one of the entrances after 5 o'clock, you may get security asking to take everything out of your pocket and you may get scanned by a metal detector. That's just how it works in this area of town. Also parking might be a problem because they only have about 20 spaces.

The floor is MUCH better than it was, which makes a huge difference. DJ Alex plays the favorite line dancing songs as well as mixes in top 40, edm, pop, some throwbacks and more. The bartenders are all so sweet and friendly, making some sweet drinks ( we love a rum bucket!). Wicked Whiskeys has also added a drink rail . Still 5 stars and I highly recommend trying it out. They are open Fridays and Saturdays from 10p -2a and Janet teaches line dance lessons from 11p- 1a.

I've been to a lot of comedy shows and have never once stood through one until the one at Soundbar. The show was advertised at 8p. We arrived about 7:30 and were told the the doors opened at 8. The show finally started at 9p which is ridiculous as everyone was pretty much inside by 8:15p. Keep in mind, everyone is standing and waiting, so the hour delay made it worse! I don't know the reason, but most of the comedians were wandering around during that time, so they were there. Maybe the main guy was late, who knows. When the show started, it was better! Lot's of comedians and all were funny. Some of them commented and seemed empathetic to the fact we were all standing. By the end, we were sore and couldn't wait to get to the car to sit down! I'm sure the venue is perfectly find for a rave, acoustic, punk rock, death metal, country band (don't you wish one band hit all the marks?), but using this venue for comedy is a mistake. Especially when the show doesn't start on time and you're standing there for 3 hours!

They've made some great changes since Backbooth to open up the space a little bit more. The acoustics are great. The whole feel is just very friendly, like you're listening to music in your friend's garage. I recently saw William Ryan Key here (formerly of Yellowcard) and, although I've seen more Yellowcard concerts than I can remember to count, this was one of the best experiences I've had seeing him/them just because of how intimate the space was. Great vibes all around. The staff is friendly too. I'd come back to Soundbar for concerts again and again.

Lou was already visibly irritated for reasons unknown to us. I tried to keep the interaction light to avoid any tension, but he suddenly raised his voice at me and said he would ban me from the bar. This reaction was completely disproportionate, especially considering the bar was empty when we got upstairs. Lou then told his coworkers that I was "banned" because I was "acting too friendly" and "acting like I knew him." Those were his exact words. At no point was I disrespectful. I was simply being friendly. As I was leaving, I made a light comment about him "standing on it," and he escalated further, yelling and cursing at me. His female coworkers then joined in and actually followed me down the street to continue berating me. The entire situation was unprofessional, aggressive, and completely unprovoked. I'm asking that this be addressed. No customer should ever experience this from anyone representing your establishment.

Which no one seemed to know about the Yelp check-in for a drink but they gave it to us anyways. The place was dead empty. VIP section was roped off with two people in it. My friend and I planned to stay for one drink, we ended up staying for a few. As the night went on we met a few people who invited us to the VIP area which by then filled up. We were dancing, having a great time. There was a group of guys from a fraternity with mink coats on and gold chains. It was funny to see especially being in Florida! I'll admit I felt a bit older than the 20ish crowd. But I still enjoyed the night! I really don't have anything bad to say except the drinks were a little pricey and the front of the building is an eye sore (its all boarded up, except for the entry way).
