The village is small and only has a few restaurants. A local shopkeeper recommended this one and we were not disappointed. The outside is deceiving because it is much bigger inside and the vibe is rustic stone. We were seated without a reservation right away. The menu had so many good options and because it is a wine shop, they had so many wines available. If you get the glass, it comes with a label on paper around the base that tells you the vintage and the price, so you can keep track of the ones you liked and those you did not. I had the wild boar tagliatelle and it was perfect! The right ratio of meat to pasta and the sauce was light. The pasta was fresh and fluffy. I wanted to try the Florentine Steak but it was by weight with a 1kg minimum. This is a must eat in Bolgheri!

She brought us plates of charcuterie, cheese, stuffed hot peppers, bruschetta and pita. All was very tasty. So we decided to order another beverage, and surprise surprise we received ANOTHER batch of food. Is it impossible to get drunk in Italy? Lol.
