Every drink is accompanied with one Tapa, and there is a variety to choose from. This seems to be the go-to place for a quick bite to eat and some chatter, for the locals. The owner, Gemma, was great. She explained some of the local customs and recommended a few places to go. Told us to always ask for a menu when we went to eat and that drinks will always come with a tapas dish. A ración, is a bigger portion of food, a shareable plate & doesn't come with a drink but those are very affordable, too. We had 2 drinks each and 4 tapas in total and the bill 8 EUR. Loving this city and it's people. This little gem is a MUST VISIT!

They offer gluten free bread, but I didn't try it. Their Sopa de Almeria was delicious. It was filled with so much seafood including fish, mussels, and shrimp. And the broth wasn't too heavy. My grilled squid entree was flavored nicely with their olive oil. It was a big plate and very filling. Their red house wine was really good as well. We were too full to try dessert.
