The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the simple pizzeria decor. The food is great, with a special stew made with 7 different fishes that looked amazing. The pizza was very tasty, and the pastas fresh and flavorful. We also had a calamari salad appetizer that was unforgettable. To augment the great food is great service. It is a very simple place, not fancy at all, but the owners daughter adds all the charm the simple decor might lack. She is so animated and helpful, kind and generous, I felt as if I had made a friend. And this despite the fact that she spoke very little English. Viareggio is a great base for exploring Tuscany and the Cinque Terra area. If you find yourself there, try this gem, you will not be disappointed!

They have local birds and mountain meats on the menu, the stew I got was amazing. Great food and ambiance! And service is real good and the waiter spoke good English.
