What you will notice is that when you go to Puerto Escondido, if you listen enough, there are areas you would never know, and you are the worse for it. I realized I did not know anything about the downtown of Puerto Escondido, the shops, the grocery stores, the every day places people would frequent. I often never made it past the beach, hence, I missed out on staple places like this one. I was starving on my way to Chacahua, and I found this pasteleria filled with sandwiches, baked goods, desserts, and more. Asked if I wanted my sandwich heated, this was a personal and professional, yet very local establishment that allows for a sense of "I love this place" that will also hit the spot when you are hungry.
