The first time I got to Badajoz I didn't know anything about the city. It surprised me a lot that there wasn't any information about it in travel guides because it's a wonderful place with many different monuments and a fantastic surrounding atmosphere. The "alcazaba" is great! Well preserved, magical and mysterious. I will never remember the fact of walking along its walls, visiting the archaeological museum and watching the sunset from the gardens. I strongly recommend it to everybody!
