Made primarily of iron and glass, a fake period facade of brick was placed at the front to be more endearing to the citizens of that time. It stands in the exact place as the original marketplace.
Authentic in its products. Geared towards the local clientele, one can find the freshest of meats, fish, cheese, cured products, fruits, take home to heat and serve dishes at more than reasonable prices! We did not find any Migas or Ternesca, some foods the area is known for. We were happy to have found the empanadillas, tortillas, and other amazing looking... ready made foods to sample.
Also known as "Lanuza" as it located right on Plaza de Lanuza. The building marks the beginning of the historical city centre and is graced by a statue of Cesar Augusto. It is easily accessible by city bus (only 1.50 euro at the time of this writing), taxi or tram.
