Tabitha Coffey needed ASAP!!
As any regular spa goer will…read moretell you- the receptionist sets the tone.
At the behest of my husband I entered the establishment after traveling abroad for two weeks in dire need of a manicure for a gala dinner; there were warning signs but we ignored them. Like the prices, the slovenly staff. In a jovial mood, we approached the receptionists whose glare can only be described as hostile. We booked an manicure for the following day at 10:00 a.m.
The following day I returned to be told there was no record of my appointment. I was ready to leave and go to another location but thought I would work a charm offensive to make the experience pleasant.
I was shooed to the side where, to my horror I saw a hairdresser blow drying a client's hair while soaking her feet in a bucket of water!! I shuttered to think what would happen if the hair dryer slipped out of her hand...
The "esthetician" roughly grabbed my hand and began filing back and forth, rather than on direction, exposing me to hangnails and potential biohazards!! I decided that I could not trust the hygiene standards and refused to let her cut my cuticles, which seemed to Irk her as she yelled "what's wrong with you". At that point I decided to pay and get out, while I still had my health. You get what you pay for in this world. Go to a proper, clean establishment!!!!!
