We live near one of the world's…read moregreatest zoos (San Diego Zoo), and we were totally satisfied with the Parc Zoologique de Paris. We didn't feel like it was in any way underwhelming or disappointing. On the contrary ,we were impressed with the very modern habitats, which seemed quite a bit roomier than most zoos, while not quite as spacious as the more open wild animal parks. Of course, as is the case with any zoo, you won't get to see every animal, as, you know, they're wild animals and can't be told to be in the window at all times. But as my wife pointed out, all the snakes can be found under their heat lamps! We will definitely be back next time we're in Paris.

Yes just slightly before 5:15 pm, the ticket seller will close the till. B came here two days before our visit and we were told that tickets are not being sold because we were 5 mins late. This is actually a good thing I guess. Ménagerie is one of the oldest zoos in Paris and is also one of the oldest zoo in the world. It opened its door back in the 1700s. Admission is €13 per person. We have noticed that this zoo is not visited by a lot of foreigners. B and I came in September and it was very quiet.
