When being discharged from the hospital for this outpatient procedure he was given an "either or" in regard to stitches. Does the doctor not know what type of stitches he used? Internal or external. That is not a difficult question. My dad could not feel any stitches (in his groin area where he could not see). 11 days later my dad felt a stitch coming to the surface of his skin. He called the doctor's office 3 times and left a message for the nurse, Simone. No call was returned. When we were finally able to reach Simone she had nothing but excuses. She passed the buck all the way around. It's a sad state of affairs when medical "professionals " have no regard for the lives or wellbeing of their patients. Just pathetic excuses. Avoid this medical practice. P.S. I have also seen a doctor at Stuart Cardiology as well. I was not impressed with that doctor either.

His forte is surgical cardiology as I learned about him from a friend here who had a successful valve replacement and has thrived for over 7 years after his treatment. Dr. Bennett took over for another cardiologist who moved away to be closer to family and I have to admit my old cardiologist had a great bedside manner. Dr Bennett gets right to the point, followed up seamlessly with my treatment plan. I'm not sure about the negative review I've seen but my experience has been completely opposite from what a read. Yes billing has it's issues but some recent changes will hopefully make that seamless as well but as far and the care I have received from Dr. Norman Bennett and his support staff he's top notch and he will listen to your concerns. This group has a group of cardiologists in several surrounding city offices and even in the Stuart location so if you prefer another just say so. No service suggested by a previous cardiologist or one you are considering is overlooked if you express your concern with good communication. Dr Bennett listens and better yet he cares for his patients. Very Pleased The office is convenient and clean, the staff teamwork gets you through the process and I have even gotten excellent essential care from staff concerning pharmacy assistance and concerns with meds quickly. The recent merge with their group has made it more convenient for more people in different surrounding areas. Now THAT'S great care.
