But actually, the one that impress me the most is this little shop in Brussels. Most of the time I passed by they were closed, but you can see some nice leather gadgets through the glass. Finally we found them open once in the evening. The sales guide told us then that they only open late afternoon to evening, very short period of time everyday. Unlike most sex shops in Amsterdam, that seems like a tourist trap, with cheap, hard to tell price and qualities of mainly male oriented toys. This one has a nice atmosphere of secrecy and intimacy. Two of the girls in the shop was really nice and helpful, without making you feel too uncomfortable. They really eased our embarrassment to walk into a erotic shop. Many of the toys look really good quality, and some of those they designed themselves and ordered at the factory directly, according to them. But they are a little beyond our affordability. Even though, they are still nice to us, and we felt really impressed by their collection. It is beautiful simply to look at. We would maybe saving money to get one of them later.

Went back to have it exchanged and after explaining what was the problem, was made to stand next to the counter while the lady hold the vibrator in her hand to wait out the 15 minutes to make sure I wasn't lying (a) why would someone lie to exchange a vibrator?? b) just holding it in your hand doesn't exactly give the same impact as using it as it's meant to be used). I wasn't allowed to leave the store. After 5 minutes, they said that it seems to be working fine and trying to tell me that I inserted the batteries the wrong way (which isn't possible, because they can only be inserted one way) and after I pointed that out, they said that a vibrator should be used only 5 minutes!! Total joke, awful treatment of their customers.

It felt more like a dance club as the music was louder than what I am used to in the States in a similar type store. There is a wide selection of underwear, clothes and gear. There wasn't any staff other than at the register to check out. I didn't mind as that gave me freedom and privacy to peruse the aisles.
