One of the best apple tarts you will have in Paris. I have tried endless apple tarts so trust me when I say that this apple tart is IN-SANE. The crust itself is fantastic with a good balance of hard vs. soft. The main attraction though is the amount of apples they stack on top. It's the thickest amount of fruit on top of a tart. The ratio of fruit to tart butt here is about 80:20 and the apple slices are layered on thick. The apple slices themselves are the perfect thickness as well (not too thin) and they are baked JUST right. So perfect that when you use your fork, the apples cut through and are not dragged out by your fork (do you get what I mean?) so every bite is evenly proportioned. Just PURE heaven.
note - This boulangerie is a little out of the way in the 15th arrondisement. There are no major tourist attractions around here so not sure how many tourists will mission it here, but if you love apple tarts, it will be worth the trek. read more
