The Owner Marissa, was very gentle, & took her time with me. She was wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, clean, professional, courteous & personable. This nail and hair salon cannot be compared to the other salons in this area. They are above and beyond on every level. They are affordable and I am looking forward to going back again as a regular customer I am thrilled that I found Marissa and Glamchic Nails.

My motivation was a cute look for my short trip to Disney! I loved what she did as I wanted a blue/pink theme for sleeping beauty which is my favorite. This time I was feeling neon and she suggested the shade she had. It was a great choice! (a brighter orange!) You can instantly tell the place just radiates (can't think of a better word) a feeling of genuineness and positivity. It may be a luxury service for some (getting your nails done) but that doesn't mean we are not people who experience bad days or rough patches. Well let me say he kept checking with me if the shape was what I wanted and honestly I was a bit of a pain. Not rudely but I had a certain shape in mind. He kept filing until it was perfect! She said she doesn't do gel pedicures and went on and on about how bad it is for your toes because you have to drill the polish off. That is false you I know because I only get gel manicures and pedicures. I just agreed to the polish because I wanted a pedicure and she won't do gel ‍. Monday 5/8 notice one of my toes is messed up. (I had socks and sneakers on the previous day.) I tried to contact the salon and they were closed. I called on Tuesday to explain about my one of my toes and how one of my finger nails the gel polish is chipped. I explained the extreme displeasure because gel polish is supposed to last up to 2 weeks (they even have a sign that says so). I made an appointment for Sunday 5/14 to get it fixed because that was my next day off. I wake up and on Wednesday and see another nail is chipped. . Fine I said to myself you have an appointment. Fast forward to Thursday 5/11. My nails at this point look like I've had the polish on for 3 1/2 weeks and dragged my finger on cement on two fingers and one finger is mildly chipped. I call Holly and explain I don't want them to redo it the quality is extremely poor I want my money back. She tells me to come in so she can see the nails. Even longer story short... Holly (the owner and the person who did my nails) says that if all 10 nails were chipped then she would give me my money back but it's only 3 so let her fix it. When I say one nails is bad there is almost 1/4 of the polish missing from it. Then tells me she didn't say gel polish lasts for 2 weeks. THERE IS A SIGN IN THE FRONT THAT SAYS THAT. There is also a sign of their price list that has gel pedicure on it (that she refuses to do). She took a marker out in front of me and crossed it out. After going back and forth she then started blaming me for the polish chipping because I didn't come back in 24 hrs. They were closed on Monday and when I spoke to her Tuesday she just wanted to make another appointment. She refused to give me my money back and after I agreed for her to fix it on Sunday she continued to blame me saying that I could have done anything to cause the chipping. No I didn't! The quality of work and horrible customer service deserves zero stars and they do not deserve your money.

The hair stylist Camille was a perfect fit for my wife. She listened with great attention to my wife's concerns and requests for how she wanted her hair done. Camille explained every step of the way, making sure my wife understood her options as Camille performed her craft to give my wife the haircut she would be most comfortable with. I never put any heat on them when i had them and she made that up. I actually was not upset that she was closing, as this was the last time i was going to use her anyway. When I first left the salon I said goodbye and good luck with everything. When I came home I noticed how uneven the extensions were since she didn't even blend them. When i came back in she was very rude to me and said my extensions were broken. She had dyed my extensions with harsh products (something that any hair dresser should know not to do) resulting in damage and cannot own up to her mistake. After her being rude, I left without saying goodbye. Hopefully a better business will be moving into that space. The cameras that she says are in the space would have shown me flinching and being hurt by her pulling my extensions out. Thats now how it is done Also her mentioning my own hair being damaged is irrelevant, as i was talking about extensions that after she dyed them with the wrong products were damaged. Person os not to be trusted, she talks about customers and past employees of hers and it is just very unprofessional. She has ignored my request to get some of my money back and now I need to see how I can get my hair to grow back after the hair loss. I have been nothing but nice to this owner for four years and gave her so much money over that time span . Bad service and rude owner. Overcharged me for damaged hair extensions. She also pulled out my hair when she was removing my extensions and I lost so much of my own hair which i need to see a doctor for. When telling her she just ignored me and cashed my check.
