The food and the service was phenomenal. The restaurant manager, Halil, was patient and explained all the dishes to us and they did not disappoint. My favorite dish was the shrimp casserole. Fresh shrimp served in a clay dish and prepared in a delicious red sauce with onions, mushrooms and mild spices. Topped with cheese and served hot. I recommend pairing this with a side of rice. The hummus with raw onions was also amazing as was this baked tahini dessert dish that comes with walnuts - they torch the top layer and the result is pure decadence. Don't miss this place if you are in Bodrum. It is tucked inside a busy market, off one of the main roads. Halil and his brother were very kind, attentive and welcoming.

We chose this one based on the non-club music coming from it's speakers and the large fish tank in its window. Also, the fact that we could eat dinner on the boardwalk and then move to the beach for some water pipe (hooka) and drinks after. The food was decent and the service was friendly and welcoming. The crowd was definitely the best of the bunch on the boardwalk... much older and less rowdy than some of the other places around. Next door, we could watch the White House's parade of dancers and sparklers with awe and not need to be involved.

I ordered the chicken and mushrooms, which I know is weird to do at a port restaurant, lol! It had an amazing flavour! So buttery and rich! I recommend this dish, but only if you're not in the mood for fish. My friends all split a huge order of snapper and it too was delicious! It came out on a huge plate cooked to perfection and the staff cut it all up and placed it on separate plates with fries and a salad. After we were done with our meal the waiter placed small plates in front of us, which confused us since all had eaten too much to have dessert. The waiter then told us since we mentioned his family member, that a mixed fruit plate would be on the house. Nice!! If you are traveling and get the pleasure of stoping at the port in Datça Turkey, try this place! The staff was very good and the food was tasty!
