The emotions and memories that sports can bring someone can't be match by any other event. You may not remember who won the game or lost 10 years down the road but you will remember that experience. I went to a Kölner Haie game 2 years ago and I can still remember my experience to this day. I was in the standing section right next to the glass and the passion and excitement that all the fans had still sticks in my memory. A great family experience for any sports enthusiast looking for a fun and memorable day should buy some tickets and go and watch the Haie. Even if you are not a Hockey fan you will have a great time. But people who don't like Hockey have never been to a game because they are crazy because of how close to the action you are and with the smaller arena it is so much louder and makes the experience that much better. I will not promise that the Haie will win but I will promise you will have a good time and have awesome memories for many years down the road. read more

Kölner Haie - über 40 Jahre Eishockeytradition in der Domstadt Tempo, Dynamik, Emotionen, tolle Stimmung und knallharte Action - das ist Eishockey! In Köln ist der schnellste Mannschaftsport der Welt untrennbar mit dem Namen "Kölner Haie" verbunden! Der KEC ist eine Kult-Marke der Domstadt! Die Kölner Haie gehören zu den Top-Adressen der Deutschen Eishockey-Liga (DEL) und sind auch europaweit eine der bekanntesten Eishockey-Marken. Eishockey hat in Köln eine lange Tradition. Schon vor über 75 Jahren wurde der Sport in der Dom-Stadt betrieben. Die Erfolgsgeschichte der Kölner Haie begann mit der Vereinsgründung vor 43 Jahren. Der KEC wurde 1972 aus der Taufe gehoben, bis 2015 errangen die Haie acht Mal die Deutsche Meisterschaft (zuletzt 2002), acht weitere Male erreichten die Haie das Playoff-Finale (zuletzt 2014), 2004 gewann Köln den nationalen Pokal-Wettbewerb.
