    The horseradish "wasabi"
    Mia M.

Pretty standard AYCE sushi for the price! The lunch pricing goes from 11am to 3pm, and will run you $19.99, which gets you a pretty respectable selection of rolls, hand rolls, nigiri, and non-sushi appetizers/hibachi/soups etc. When you go for dinner pricing, sashimi is added into the rotation, plus a couple other options like seaweed salad, if I remember correctly. When going for lunch, I usually just stick to the salmon nigiri which is pretty reliable--unlike some AYCE places that put wayyy too much rice in their sushi, you get a very reasonable ratio of rice:fish in the nigiri here. The maki rolls are a bit hit or miss in my opinion, but the hand rolls are always solid (I'm a big fan of the spicy salmon for those). Their "wasabi" is in fact that weird combination of horseradish and green food dye that some places use instead of the real stuff--not unsurprising for the price point, but still not my favorite. The service here is always pretty attentive and quick, and I've only had to reorder a couple of things that got lost in the shuffle, which, all things considered, is not bad.

Kyoto is a solid all-you-can-eat option. Their sushi is good, price is great, and service is consistently good. FOOD: I recommend the "sexy girl roll" or "Boston roll". But really you can't go wrong. The menu is limited, but the quantities are not. Their food is solid for an all you can eat establishment. Not the best fish I've had, but that's absolutely expected for this type of place. Compared to other AYCE place (not to sushi in general), this is in the top 75% which is why I've given 4 stars. SERVICE: Always good and quick. Also polite. AMBIANCE: Good for friends, a date, work lunch, etc. It's not too formal for a weekday random lunch and not too casual for a date. PARKING: there's street parking nearby so long as your willing to walk a block or two.

I ordered from this place through DoorDash. So i cant really say anything about the location, service or ambiance, but the food was pretty good! I ordered four set of rolls, i might have gone a little overboard.. but i was extremely hungry from my travels! For sushi that was packaged then taken on a ride to my location, it was pretty tasty. Tasted fresh and great flavor, and nice portions!

Kyoto is the best AYCE sushi in town! Our waitress was attentive, making sure our waters were filled, our empty plates were cleared, and each round of orders came out quickly. Everything we had was delicious but some of my favorites were the sexy girl roll, the #9 roll, and the salmon nigiri - I don't know what I was expecting from the spicy salmon nigiri, but it was just the salmon with a drizzle of spicy mayo! We got a side of the spicy Mayo so I didn't really need them already spicy, but it was still delicious. The hand rolls were a great addition to the meal as well, a great ratio of rice and fish The ultimate reason to go to Kyoto for AYCE is the sashimi!! We got a lot of pieces and everything (especially the salmon) was incredible- perfectly fatty and just delicious. We finished the night with a little green tea ice cream - one of my favorites!

Visited Kyoto with my brother around 5pm on a Thursday for their all you can eat sushi. I was very happy with my experience!! I have visited once before for lunch and the service was extremely slow and we were never checked on, but this time was totally different and our server was very attentive. We ordered so much food and because I'm not a sushi snob, I liked it quite a bit. If you have a need for sushi, I can't recommend this place enough. For like $30 you can have as much sushi as you want. I will definitely be back.

Came here to take advantage of $19.99 all-you-can-eat lunch service. Excellent food and service overall. You place orders whenever you like and service was speedy with only 4-5 tables on a Monday. Nice peaceful vibes with a few TV screens showing sports and ambient music plays throughout. Would love to come again!

    Mackerel, yellowtail

Edamame and sake were okay LOL. Salmon nigiri was a little smelly but palatable. Pictured is the mackerel and the yellowtail which I did not eat. Super smelly and barely any meat to skin on the yellowtail?? Menu doesn't list what's tempura and I ordered 2 things w tempura I didn't want. my server was uneducated on the menu and had no idea what to offer me for a roll with nothing fried. She said "an avocado roll?" With just avocado. I'm not coming into all you can eat sushi for an avocado roll I can make at home! Had to beg my server to take stuff off my bill. Gross. Environment was awkward and food was super mid, don't waste your money and time.

There is a great variety of rolls so everyone is going to be pleased with the meal. The restaurant itself is tight on space but the dining experience makes up for it. Location-wise it is great because if you struggle to find parking in the small lot next to the spot, you can park on a residential street behind the restaurant and take a short stroll. We had the salmon carpaccio which was the highlight of the meal. It was similar to a sashimi but was doused in a delicious sauce. We then had the squid game which has a much smokier flavor than expected - it almost had an essence of teriyaki and was probably our least favorite though not bad. We went with two rolls: the 2-14 and the Mishap. Both were absolutely delicious. We were ready to order more but our waiter was nowhere to be found. We waited several minutes and then decided to just get the check instead. We recently moved from a place known for its sushi so we found the quality of fish here to be good - but not outstanding and would echo the sentiment that prices are pretty astronomical. The vibe of the place was cool and the dishes were good but the price and service definitely cost it a star. We walked because parking in the area did look pretty tough!

Both taste good but overpriced for the amount of drink you get. Especially for the Royal, $12 for a small milk tea you is egregious. Even for the Kosho, you get 4 tablespoons worth of juice in a huge wine glass. The menu can be a bit hard to navigate since so many menu options are unique but the server expertly guided us through. We ordered the Maitake Karaage, Duck Tataki, Mentaiko Lumache, chicken thigh yakitori, and a wagyu yakitori. Likes Vs Dislikes: LIKE the Maitake Karaage - this was the best dish of the evening. Fried mushrooms with scallion mayo, gave the texture and flavor of fried calamari but it's actually mushroom. LIKE the Mentaiko Lumache - this pasta was incredible. Perfectly al dente noodles with a unique almost cup shape that gave a nice bite of noodle and sauce together. The sauce was delicious! Dislike the yakitori - felt like there was little to no value here. You pay $7 per skewer which contains barely 3 bites of chicken. It was pretty average tasting too. Wouldn't waste the money. Like and dislike the Duck Tataki - delicious in flavor, nice and fatty, ponzu and mango added a great flavor. Disliked that for $22 you get hardly 4-5 bites of duck. Tiny tiny skinny bites mind you. Felt like the value wasn't there for this fish given how good it actually tasted. I'd look elsewhere on the menu. Overall, given what we liked, the ambience and staff, I am giving this a 5/5. If money isn't a factor then come here and go crazy, but if value matters then stray away from the yakitori and Duck Tataki, just my 2 cents.

Recently, I started coming for the food dinner and realized I was missing a lot. Their menu is very thoughtful in each dish has a nice variety of textures and flavors. I will say that their Ramen is one of the best in town. I think really what sets it apart is the broth being super in depth and they grill the pork belly which makes it really smoky and tender. This time I branched out and got the grilled squid as well and it was exceptional. The soy ginger glaze on it was incredible. The only few downsides I think I've noticed is service can be a little bit hit or miss which is surprising how small the places. Even when sitting at the bar, it took a little bit to get their attention. Also, I've tried a few of the cocktails and for the main part they just taste like alcohol with a soda. They sound extremely creative on the menu, but the balance isn't there. Either way I've typically gotten sake as they have a nice little selection. Overall, I love the whole vibe of this place.
